Well, I just downloaded and installed Linux in my PC today. It looks amazing.
Everything works fine ! No Problems at all . I chose Ubuntu 7.10 distribution of linux.

It consumes least of my PC resources. So i am getting good performance. For those of you who just stayed with Windows operating system, it wont be difficult to use Ubuntu linux. To actually say the truth, in some ways, linux is superb and better than windows.

And To say about graphics and themes,Ubuntu 7.10 linux is 100000 times better than windows Vista. I was just amazed at looking this kind of graphics in my desktop which consumes least of my RAM.
I am looking forward to swim deep into Linux in the coming days.

Ubuntu is a good distro to start with. Just keep an open mind and don’t be afraid to tinker a little. Who knows – one day you may just decide to turn Windows off completely, like I did many years ago. (I have not missed it yet.)
